Dad, served the Calcutta Police. On the hill in Birmitrapur he had alot of time to tell us so many stories of his young days. How he rescued Muslims from certain lynching by Hindu mobs during the great Calcutta riots of 1947. I suppose this warrant of appointment was the kiss of life to many Muslims he saved.
